What to expect:
Three days of Breathwork, river swims, activities and delicious food. This experience will include a 48hr full technology disconnect, two nights accomodation at an Eco Lodge in the heart of the Blue Mountains, closing out with a special secret experience.
Together we will meet in the Blue Mountains where our journey will officially begin. You will be asked to make any final messages and calls to family before disconnecting.
As groups we will descend into the valley to our disclosed location. From here the experience will flow, surrender to the breath, lean into the challenges, plunge into the river. Forge your path.
Throughout our time together you will experience deep guided Breathwork sessions, daily meditations, cold immersion and learn self regulation tools and techniques for your return to daily life.
This isn’t just a meditation retreat, this is The Forge.

Breathwork Facilitator, Freedive Instructor, founder and lead facilitator at Recovery Breath.
Arthur brings a wealth of knowledge and a trauma informed approach to his experiences and retreats.

What is the itinerary?
We will meet in Katoomba on Friday afternoon at 2pm where we will convoy down into the heart of the Blue Mountains. From here the experience will flow.
Each day will be filled with enriching activities, Breathwork, nervous system regulation, and invigorating river swims.
We’ll step slightly outside of the comfort zone promoting a space for true transformation
Rest assured you’ll leave the experience, empowered, and ready to conquer any challenge.
We will be deeply immersed in nature.
Let go of any expectations, disconnect from technology and enjoy the experience.
Together we will hike back out of the valley.
Once we finish our hike on the Sunday, I’ve got a special treat in store for you. It’ll be the perfect way to rest and recharge after our incredible weekend together.
The experience will finish in Katoomba on Sunday evening.
You can then return home ready for the week ahead or book a night of accomodation in the Blue Mountains allowing you to slowly integrate the experience.
FAQ
Who can join The Forge?
The Forge is open to all people, yet limited to a small group. Beyond the challenges of the experience, this is an open, caring, loving community environment. (Must be over 18yrs old)
What to expect of the accommodation?
Situated at the heart of the Blue Mountains the accommodation is an off grid Eco Lodge. The bedding configuration is shared bunk rooms, with a privacy curtain on each bunk. Each room is heated by wood fire.
Do I need to bring food?
No, this retreat is fully catered. We will eat a range of healthy, nutritious meals energising you for our days filled with activities. If you have any dietary requirements, we can cater to this too. Reach out to us via email or be sure to mention it when you purchase your ticket.
What fitness level is required?
There is no required fitness level to enter The Forge. It is recommended that you are reasonably mobile to partake in activities such as hiking, river swims, river crossings and walking over undulating terrain.
What if I need to contact someone during The Forge retreat?
One fundamental aspect of the retreat experience is a full technology disconnect. Due to the nature of the experience and its remote location, there will be no cell phone reception.
To partake in the experience in its fullest form you will be asked to leave your phone and all smart devices with one of our staff members or locked in your vehicle for the duration of the experience.
We recommend you notify any important contacts of your absence and set up an ‘out of office’ automation for your voicemail and emails.
The technology disconnect will commence on Friday afternoon when we meet and continue until the Sunday afternoon towards the end of the experience. (48hr)
What do I need to pack?
Please carefully read our recommended packing list.
Certain items are essential and others are optional.
We will be hiking during the experience and we recommend you bring a 20-35L day pack.
All other excess equipment can be transported with our support team to the end of the hike.

Comfortable hiking clothes (e.g., moisture-wicking shirts, convertible pants)
Warm clothes for evenings (e.g., fleece, down jacket, long-sleeve layers)
